Additional informations : On the Lukuga River, construction of the Nyemba bridge with a span of 140 m and 10.40 m wide. The bridge makes it possible to connect the east to the west of Tanganyika in complete safety by avoiding crossing the river by ferry or by canoe.
In addition to the bridge, EGMF carried out the rehabilitation of the RN33 Nyemba-Kabalo road: 185km with a monolayer over a width of 6m. These works include:
- The construction of a new mixed bridge in Luizi with a span of 41m and a width of 6m.
Reinforcement of six existing bridges.
The construction of engineering structures (7 box culverts and 10 culvert crossings) for crossing watercourses.
This project is divided into three sections:
- 1st section = Nyemba – Nyunzu – 55km
2nd section = Nyunzu – Luizi – 65km
3rd section = Luizi – Kabalo – 65km
