It supplies electricity to some 600,000 inhabitants of the city of Kalemie as well as households around Bendera.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5450\" src=\"\/content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Roue-Pelton-300x146.jpg\" alt=\"Roue Pelton \u00e0 la centrale de Bendera\" width=\"300\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/forrestgroup.com\/content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Roue-Pelton-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/forrestgroup.com\/content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Roue-Pelton-768x373.jpg 768w, https:\/\/forrestgroup.com\/content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Roue-Pelton.jpg 846w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>AEMI carried out the dismantling and repair of the generator of the 1st group. After the repair, the Stator and Rotor of the alternator underwent several electrical tests to ensure its condition before returning to service.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>The Pelton wheel has been reconditioned in the <a href=\"https:\/\/forrestgroup.com\/en\/business\/ateliers-electro-maintenance-industriels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AEMI workshops<\/a> in Likasi.<\/p>\n<p>The teams cleaned the penstocks, replaced the control cabinets in the control room, and inspected the railway track for the rehabilitation of the funicular to allow operators quick access to the facilities of the upstream works.<\/p>\n<p>A high-precision project, made even more complex by the site&#8217;s lack of
